Preschool graduation...

Rylie's last day of preschool this year was celebrated with a big Graduation Party! They did it! It was such a fun year with the joy school. I was suprised how much fun I had with the kids and am so glad we did it. Rylie has learned a ton, pretty smart cookie.

the best night of Rylie's life...

Rylie's dance recital was last night and according to her "it was the best night of her life". She LOVED the spotlight. They danced to Pop, goes the weasel! It was an adorable dance for four year old and adorable costumes. Her Grandma and Grandpa Smith, Grandma and Grandpa Beak, Uncle Sid and friend, and cousin Holly came to see her. She had the time of her life. Late last night when the excitement was wearing down, she had a meltdown. I asked her why she was sobbing, she says "i miss Richelle (her dance teacher) so much" and was so sad thinking we were taking the summer off of dance. Oh boy!!! But at least it was the BEST night of her life.

I love Town celebrations, I love the traditions of celebrating town festivities, I love taking my kids to them and watching them get so excited. We celebrated Health Days by watching the parade and getting TONS of candy and then had a luncheon at my house afterwards.

This is the typical outfit for Rylie. Dressed in pink or purple, the more the better. Must wear a skirt and lots of bling. The best part of this picture is the magazine Rylie is looking at or studying! Its an Avon book, oh girl.She did her hair all by herself. Isn't she getting too big.

Happy Easter! I love Easter, the reason for Easter, Spring, and for New Beginnings. Our Bunny also loves Easter! He brought new church clothes for the kids! I know Bode's shirt is not buttoned right, I was in a hurry for church and it took me part way through church before I noticed it. But isn't he handsome! and so beautiful!

More easter happenings...

Every year my mom and dad do an Easter Egg Hunt for the Grandkids. It is so fun to watch them run and each year we line up the cousins on the lane before they can take off for a picture. The excitement is almost too much for them.... We are missing a few cousins this year.

On your mark, get set, GO! So My sister Erica and I have a big concern. Everytime we get together, I am so serious, everytime we get together we are dressed alike or VERY similar. See what I mean??? Last year at Bear Lake, we would show up in the almost same outfit for seven nights. It was a bit embarrassing when people thought we planned it. If I had on gray so did she, when I had on blue so did she. Good thing were sisters and can get away with it. I guess!! Or we might have to start planning outfits before the fam gets together!

Today I took the kids to the park, it was a bit breezy, but it is so nice to be out and about though. Bode was climbing on the bleachers by the park and was carrying something is his hand, I thought it looked like a pine cone. When I got closer I realized it was a DEAD BIRD HEAD, yes just the head. I was so disgusted and ran to get the hand santizer and wet wipes. UUUGGGHH

Rylie told me a while back that "Justin Beiber is hot", i started laughing and asked her who told her that? I was thinking her older cousins that we had just spend time with. Nope, it was her best little four year old buddy. I got quite the kick out of it. So i asked Rylie what does HOT mean, "you know mom, like steam".. Good thing she really isn't into Justin Beiber... YET!

Easter Happenings...

The fun of coloring Easter eggs. We don't get too crazy around here with our eggs, but they worked out. Bode was strapped down in his high chair so he would stay out of the dye. He was not a happy camper about it, we even gave him plastic eggs to play with and he knew he wasn't getting the real thing. Rylie concentrating on her work.

This is our loot from Lee's, we just happened to be there when they were starting so we did the bunny trail. And Bode loved dragging his basket from Lee's all around.

more bumps and bruises

This little guy is very ambitious and always full of energy. He ends up with all sorts of bumps and bruises, but this one was a picture worthy Check out the green goose egg on his forehead! He tripped over a toy and ended up hitting the edge of the dresser.

These two always join me in bed in the morning and I usually get kicked out. Look at Bode's face in this picture, he is so excited.

I went to tuck Rylie in the other night and this is what I found. Almost all her kids were in bed with her, but my favorite part is the purple tutu she has on and the flowers in her hair. What a girl.

And this little guy, LOVES his monkey I usually find him laying in some weird position or with his bum in the air and face planted into the bumper!
