Whats going on...

Can you believe how fast this summer is going by, it is going way to fast for me. This is what the Beckstead Family has been up too.....

I had to work an 8-5 shift during an audit at my work. I am only used to working until noon, it about killed me. I have way more respect for those mom's who do it all. I was exhausted after just one week.

The baby is growing great and everything still looks good. We are on a count down of about 8 weeks, so I guess that means it time to get ready too.

Of course the envelope is still sealed, I am holding strong on not finding out what we are having until he/she is here!!

Enjoyed BBQ's, fireworks, parades and more BBQ's over the 4th of July (post to come)

Congratulations to Kenny(Mike's brother) and Renea on getting married.

Being lazy and enjoying the sunshine, BBQ's, picnic's, shade and our own back yard.

Spent a week at Bear Lake with my mom's side of the family. One of my favorite vacations!! (another post to come)

Hanging out at the pool, this has became a favorite of Rylie's. Its hard to get her out of the pool after a full day of swimming. I think she turned part fish this summer.

Off to Wyoming...

We started off the Summer by heading to Gillette, Wyoming to visit my brother and his new wife. It was a crazy and fun trip. First of all the drive is supposed to be about 9 hours and it took us 12 plus getting there and 14 plus to get home. Being 7 months pregnant, my doctor wanted me to get out of the car every hour and half and walk around but we all needed breaks. So the drive was long, but it was so worth it and so much fun. We did have to rent a vehicle big enough for all of us my mom, my sister and her two girls and me and Rylie all piled into a Durango for the trek. Here is Rylie navigating the map, she figured out that we were " following the pink road" (interstate ) until we got to Uncle Spenny's. My mom bought all the girls cute Wyoming Cowboy boxers to sleep in.
Here they are with Uncle Spence in his Cowboy Attire

Being goofy!
Spence and Laura were serious tour guides; they hooked us up with awesome sights!

One of the many stops - Devils tower.

Laura packed us an awesome picnic (she fed us very well during the whole trip) that we enjoyed at the Roughlock falls.
Look who loves her mom!

We made it to Mt Rushmore and arrived in style, by train. We took a 1800's train to from one to the next, it was Rylie's highlight. She got to meet the conductor and practice her Choo Choo!! (pictures to come later).

On the way home we stopped at Independence Rock and Martin's Cove. The video and pictures at Martins Cove make you very thankful for the pioneers. I don't know if I would have had it in me to make the trek.
Jaiden and Camry tried to sit on a snake at Independence Rock, it was climbing up the rock right beside them.

Martin's Cove
Thank you MOM, SPENCER, LAURA and ERICA for an awesome trip!
