My new Bike!

Check out my new bike! Rylie was so excited to get a new bike that it had to ride in the back seat on the way home. She hasn't quite figured out how to keep the pedals going, but is having fun playing with all the features.



Of course it is pink and purple, her favorite!

Story Time ....

Rylie is so funny with her "animals and babies" right now. She has to have them all sleep with her, ride in the car with her, and where ever she goes, they go! Mike takes Rylie to the babysitter in the mornings, but before they go she will say, I need my green blanket, and my pink blanket, and my baby and my green care bear(for the moment). She always has list of what she wants and is into organizing them all. HMmmm wonder where she got that.

I caught Mike reading bedtime stories to Rylie on video. You can tell at the end that I got busted and Mike was not to excited about being recorded. So don't tell him I blogged about it. I just think it is so cute of him and he is always so cute with Rylie. What an awesome Dad, we love you! and hopefully he still loves me after you see these clips.

Jackson Hole...

I love Jackson Hole, Mike and I try to go there at least once a year. This year was WAY fun with Rylie. We enjoyed shopping, an arts festival, a way long Hike, more shopping, and just hanging out as a family. The weather was beautiful up there! We even enjoyed drinking hot chocolate from our cabin and watching it rain. This was the perfect way to end the SUMMMER! I am so ready for Fall after seeing a skiff of snow in Star Valley and the mountains starting to turn gold.

Sid, Mike's Brother, has just left for a two year Brazil Mission. Even though we will miss him, we are very excited for him. Best Wishes Sid!

Rylie's new found excitement is RUNNING and JUMPING. But not together. She loves to get on my king size bed and treat it like a trampoline. "I jump" "I jump". Or run from one end of the house to the other saying "I run" "I run".

Yesterday was Rylie's 18 month check up and she is growing like a weed! She is in the 80% for height and the 70% in weight. We also got to see my Mike's Brothers brand new baby yesterday, he is so little compared to Rylie! It is so crazy how fast they grow up.

24th of July...

The 24th of July is a Family Favorite. We spend one FULL week at Bear Lake with my Mom's side of the family. We have so much fun playing in the lake, in the sand, and hanging with family. Spending the 24th of July at Bear Lake became a tradition when my Grandma would take my mom and her sisters (5 girls) to the lake every summer. I looked forward to this vacation every year and I hope Rylie does too.

Rylie loved the beach, jumping in the lake, digging in the sand, and playing with cousins.

Mike's favorite thing at Bear Lake is the "Hold on for your life" tube ride from Uncle Wayne.

This is all of Rylie's cousins (or my cute nieces and nephews). Every time we try to do a cousin picture Rylie is crying. Oh well, we got them all in the picture. The swing will make her feel better!
