the last of the snow days ???

I really don't know if these are the last of the snow days this winter, but we have enjoyed the new snow and sunshine. Its an awesome mixture. We had a sled/snowmobile day for Presidents Day. It was beautiful, the sun was out, the snow was perfect, it was a great day.
Grandpa Smith taking Bode on one of the many rides he wanted to go on the vrmm vrmm. Bode loves anything with a motor on it. Cousin Taylor was so nice to go round and round with Rylie. Rylie told me on the way up, she was not going on the snowmobile. She couldn't get enough of the sleigh ride and would have stayed there all day. Good think Taylor was so sweet to take her.

Uncle Kade so nice to share his snowmobile and to take all the kids for rides.

The snow was perfect for building a snowman> Rylie giving him a hug. She named it "frosty", very original. I need to make or get a cute snowman kit, does anyone have any good ideas?

And we ventured out to see the elk at Hardware Ranch. I only took a couple of shoots, the rest of the time I had to keep Bode from jumping off the wagon. He was okay when it was moving, but as soon as it stopped, he was out of there. Rylie was a little under the weather, but she made it. Her favorite part was telling the horses thankyou and getting to pet them.

OH fun!

Who needs a good laugh...

Well this is a very embarrassing story, but it must be told. I am still giggling about it and you probably wont find it as funny as I do.... So the other day I got dressed to take Rylie to story time at the local library, she loves it. I have been a bit under the weather with a nasty cold so I thought to myself if I dress nice, it may make me feel better. So I put on a sweater and jeans.(yeah thats dressing nice) The sweater was black and one of those tighter fitting ones with the big neck on it. We made it to story time, wrestled Bode for an hour was up/ down, ALL over the library, visiting with friends, etc. Rylie left the library with her little buddy so it was just me and Bode. He fell asleep in the car and I carried him in and then went and got the mail and thought man its a little cold today..., then I went running down the stairs to enjoy my no-kid time and realized....I totally forgot to put a BRA on today. Well some of you can get away with that, but I cannot. I was dying! I am still laughing and quite embarassed....

valentine tea party...

This lucky girl got to invite her best buddies over for a tea party. It was so fun, we made valentines, sugar coookies and had a lunch tea party. The ladies were all excited and had a lot of fun. It was a little wild for me to have 6 little girls running wild in their tea party dresses. The girls...
The lunch- we used Rylie's great great grandmother's fostoria tea cups. The girls were so cute with them and sipped their pink lemonade away.

I borrowed this lazy susan from my mother in law, it was the best. The girls could stay seated and turn it to reach what they needed. We also used it with our sugar cookies, it was loaded with frosting, candy and heart shaped cookies (thanks so much Angie, your the best).

The favor's, the flowers turned out cheesy, I was hoping they would be adorable.
Note this little guys shirt HEART BREAKER, i thought it was appropriate for him to wear it around all the ladies. He was loaded with treats and candy to keep him off the table. What a guy.

More VALENTINES to come....

hair cut...

Every FOUR year old needs a FOUR year old hair cut. Rylie hair was getting so long, I spiced it up a bit and had it really cut. I was a little worried when it was all done, but I love it. Remember these locks....
The hair cut!
And this little monkey will not stay off my counter or table, REALLY its all I do, get him down and as soon as I turn my back he is dancing on the counter AGAIN. Gotta love it.

A birthday for a Sunbeam...

Rylie got to go to Primary this year and loves being a Sunbeam. She comes home just singing her little heart out. My sunbeam, we are sure proud of her....
Her new birthday outfit...

And Happy 4th Birthday to Rylie.... Today we had a spectacular princess birthday party with family. Complete with a princess hats, princess cupcakes, home made ice cream (yum) and an adorable Rapunzel cake, just what she wanted. She got pretty spoiled again, she sure is loved. I can't believe and I can believe that she is four - she loves learning, being a real princess, teasing her little brother and giving the best snuggily hugs.

Happy Birthday Princess!

Blowing out the candles, all four of them.

A close up of the cake, it was SUCH a pain, but worth it when Rylie saw the finished product and said "wow" with a big grin. We loved the movie Tangled!

Opening presents, thank you so much for spoiling her on her birthday. She loved all the gifts!

What an amazing birthday for such a princess.

Christmas Morning....

My last post of Christmas... THIS YEAR! I love Christmas and wanted to document our everyday activities. I Love Family Traditions...... I love all 25 days of it and am in disbelief come Christmas Day Night and it is all over with. Enough said... Christmas Morning at our house, check it out!

Santa brought Bode his TWO rolls of wrapping paper that he uses as bonking sticks instead. Everytime we were shopping and passed one he would beg to use it on someone or something.
Rylie was so excited that Santa brought the right barbies, way to go big guy!

Rylie's new scooter, she is trying to be so big.
And Mike went ahead and got him his own Christmas Present...
Okay, enough Christmas photos, on to 2011. 2010 was awesome and we were so blessed. I can only imagine what 2011 brings and look forward to it.
