what's going on....

So much has been going on that I have been a slacker keeping up with the blog. I am now a STAY AT HOME MOM full time and loving it. I have only been home a weekish and it is great. We have a lot of projects to accomplish, we will see if we find the time. I am SO THANKFUL for the opportunity to stay home while my kids are so little, it could not have worked out better. I gave my two weeks at work and had to train a new person to take my position and have an outside company audit me. It was such a crazy few weeks and I so excited about being home. I will miss my dear friends at work that have always been there for me! Thank you guys!

Rylie turned THREE years old. I will have to post pictures when I figure out my old computer. (I had a nice laptop at work that they made me give back).... We had a sleigh riding party with my family. It turned out to be a great day and everyone came to celebrate Rylie's birthday. She got pretty spoiled with Birthday toys!!

Bode is growing like a weed! Seriously, I cannot believe fast he is growing and changing. He figured out he can get further by rolling and as soon as you lay him down, he is out of here. No more letting him chill on my bed. He is a terrible napper and okay at night. He gives me 20 minute cat naps here and there and that is about it. We are still working on a schedule.

The end!

never too late for Christmas...

What a wonderful Christmas that has came and gone! I know I am a bit slow posting Christmas, but it was unbelievable. We had the best few weeks during the holidays. Santa showed up and spoiled our kids rotten. He does a pretty good job here at the Becksteads! I got butterflies on Christmas Eve, I was so excited. I love the spirit of Christmas and wish I could have it all time. We enjoyed our time with Family! Ate a ton, too much!! Went on a hay ride, sledding and played games, that is what the holidays are about. Rylie told "the santa" at the mall that she wanted a Barbie, easy enough. Then a few days before Christmas she said that Santa was going to bring her TWO barbies. I had a little chat and told her not to be disappointed because she told Santa a Barbie, not two. Well on Christmas Eve Santa showed up at Mike's Grandma, she didn't miss the oppurtunity to let him know she meant TWO barbies! Good thing Santa was prepared!

BODE!

Smith grandkids before another PARTY!

Sleigh Riding at my parents house, it is the perfect HILL for sledding!

Daddy and his two babies, Rylie wanted to be rocked like a baby, so we just added Bode to the scene! What a great papa!

Merry Christmas...

Okay for some reason, this picture is sideways instead of up and down. I took a picture of our Christmas Card. Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope it is everything you imagined and more. I will post our Family Pictures soon!

I wear my sunglasses at night....

I went to check on Rylie before I went to bed last night and this is what I found. Yes she is sound asleep. What a silly. These sunglasses have been a big hit ask my neighbors.... Her and Mike delivered neighbor gifts the other night. It was dark, but she insisted to wear her glasses. Mike thought she wouldn't be able to see in the dark and take them off. Instead she wore them the whole time and when neighbors came to the door, she would tell them Merry Christmas in her glasses. What a kid!

Christmas Fun...

This is how it started out with Santa for Rylie, but as you can tell in the next picture she was okay and told him she had been good and wanted a Barbie!
Bode was like now what are we doing mom!

One of my favorite traditions is making and decorating sugar cookies, here we are in action!

Chowing on a peanut butter kiss cookie...
Grandpa Beak provided us with the Gingerbread house and we had a good time putting it all together. I let Rylie get into the Candy the last few days, instead of breaking it off the house. She picks up the whole house and bites off one of those stale gum drops!
I love Christmas traditions, love this time of year.

oh how they grow...

Growing so fast! Smiling and cooing! This is such a fun age.
My princess, loves to dress up. She even puts it all on at once.

Her favorite is to dress up like a beach princess! Where all of her swimsuits at the same time and pretend to be a Bear Lake.
