june happenings

Man has it been a roller coaster...  we had such a crazy last week of school.  Moved out of our house that Saturday, cleaned carpets and got it ready for the people that bought it.  I was did pretty good holding it all together until the day we closed, then the tears came.  I have a lot of special neighbors and special memories in that home, but look forward to creating more memories in my new house!
(New post on the home to come)

Rylie had a WAAAYYY loose tooth and with all the craziness of moving, we weren't sure how this was all going to happen.  We decided to write a note to the tooth fairy telling her we live at Grandpa and Grandma Smith's so she would not be confused when the tooth came out.  Well she lost it at our home, but we were sleeping at Grandma Smith's.  She put it under her pillow and the tooth fairy brought her $2 dollars, then when were making a final run through our home, we came upon Rylie's note and guess what another dollar.  Pretty lucky girl

This tree was on the corner of the lot and the kids miss climbing in it.  This was the last time in the tree!  What a cute pair of monkeys

Have I mentioned, I have some really good friends in our old subdivision.  Well, we had a  little shindig before we moved so the kids could play.

Free fishing day!  YES!!!  I am the best mom ever!  My kids had fishing on their summer bucket lists, so I braved the crowd and went to Willow Park and fished.  No, we didn't catch anything but we sure tried for a good couple hours.  We also went to the all the booths about the Bear River and got free t-shirts.  Can't say we will do this every year, but they sure had a good time trying.

This nice gentleman from the Cache Anglers tied flies with the kids and man was intensive and man was he patient.  He was so cute with the kids.

Feeding fish/ ducks at the dam!
Oh the start of summer and we have a lot of fun planned.

dance recital

Rylie had her spring dance recital.  They were the little ballerina's on top of a jewelry box.  She has grown so much and loves going to dance class.  She knew all her steps and did such a great job.
My little ballerina~

We ended the BIG night by making banana splits at our house and hanging out with Grandpa and Grandma Smith, Grandpa and Grandma Beckstead, Sharon and kids.
What a fun night for such a sweet little girl

may happenings..

Black and White Day Parade in Richmond.  It rained hard right up until the parade started, but then it turned out to be a pretty nice night.

Rylie and  Bode showing off the their favorite couch at Grandpa Beckstead's store.

Great, Great Grandma Thelma turned 98 this month.  My kids are so lucky to enjoy all this time with great grandparents.  Rylie was a little annoyed that I didn't give Grandma a present at her birthday party, I told her that at her age she just wants us to come visit her.  Then I told her when I am 98, I want presents and she agreed to that.  Happy Birthday!

sold!

It SOLD!  We were extremely fortunate and sold our house with two days of putting it on the market.  We are building.  YAY!  Super excited and cannot wait for our new home.  Its been a bit of a whirlwind since we decided to do this!!   We are moving in with my gracious parents for a few months until ours is ready.  We are blessed and so fortunate with this oppurtunity!  I love this home, I love my neighbors and ward and will miss it/ them so much.

lately!

So much going on lately.  Seriously, I wonder all the time where time goes.  I try to enjoy Each day and the small moments with my kids.  Time just flies right on by...

Rylie and Bode at the annual Heath Day Parade.  Love it!  We carried on the tradition of going to the parade, BBQ lunch after wards with family, blue sox game and Fireworks.

Bode was too busy to have a picture with me at Health Days and poor Mike had to work.  but Rylie was nice enough to take one with me!
And my cute parents at Health Days.

Rylie has grown a ton this past year. She got to go to mutual with me the other night for a little sister party and she was my partner.  I love her so much and enjoyed spending the evening with just her.

Spring Break

A week without school, YAY, but it went fast.  We sent swimming, played with friends and neighbors, hung out and slept in and went to Hogle Zoo!  The kids loved it!  They are at such a fun age and love the zoo.  Just enjoying time together

I love this picture of Bode and Mike, of course Bode was just as interested in the construction going on at the zoo as much as he was in the zoo.

Can you believe school is about to wrap up in a few weeks and next post... big news!
