more February happenings..

My Dad had went a turned a year older!  We celebrated with my siblings(that live here) and had a fun night out at Texas Roadhouse.  We gave my dad 65 reasons why we love, admire and respect him.  We sure do love him and our glad he gave us a reason to celebrate.  Happy Birthday

Happy Valentines Day!
Decorating sugar cookies, sweetheart dinner, exchanging valentines and notes.

Gotta love Bode's eyes... I am pretty sure he eats more frosting and treats, then decorates.

Rylie all dolled up for the Valentine Party at school.
I loved valentine's day at school, seeing what your hearts said from boys....
Her Valentine box, of course it had to do with Frozen!
This little guys preschool went to Great Harvest bread and learned how to make Bread.  He is loving school and having a blast learning, playing with friends and doing fun things.  Carlee, Jonah, Bode, Joslynn

Oh yes!  Lots of painting!  Any takers to help?  Mike was feeling like the white walls where like a blizzard in our house with everything stark white.  The white walls looked clean and I liked that.

Love, Love, Love the Olympics!!
I spent days watching them and didn't even feel bad about getting nothing done.
The best part was getting the kids involved with them.  Every night during the Olympics we "went" to another country.  We decorated the table with the countries flag & colors.  We then enjoyed dinner from that country.  Here is the disclaimer- It might not have been the most authentic food, but for a 4&7 year old it was really fun and real.  I will list the food below for the memories.
Here are all the flags Bode & Rylie drew for the Olympics.

Picture of our German Pancakes.

Here's our Olympic menu -
American Pizza
Swedish meatballs,
German Pancakes,
Russian Chicken,
French bread, French onion soup, French fries
Brazilian sandwich and real black beans
Canadian Bacon Pizza
Chinese sweet & sour
Italian Alfredo pasta
Korean beef (this is really good and a keeper)
Mexican beef enchilada's
Greece pita burgers
Mongolian beef
Thai Pizza
(like i said, not too authentic, but sure fun)

I love the color you are painting. Also, I want the recipe for the Korean beef. E-mail it to me if you get a minute. Sharon
