Sunbeam...

This HANDSOME little dude is a SUNBEAM!!!  With a lot of tears, he made it.  Each week is getting better and better and less and less tears.  He gets pretty worked up about being by himself.  That is why he has only been away from me, Mike and Rylie only TWICE!  He has the BEST teacher that is also the one that watched him the TWO times he was alone.  After throwing up in Nursery, he never went back, so this is a pretty big step for the little dude!!
I am so PROUD OF HIM and LOVE YA BUDDY!!

and this BEAUTIFUL LADY is in CTR 6 this year.  She is soaking everything in, loves primary, loves to sing, loves to learn and is such a good girl!   And I LOVE HER!

snowmobiling...

How many Smith Cousin's cant you get into a sleigh?  These are only part of the cousins, but we spent the day with them sledding behind Uncle Kade's snowmobile.  Kade got this new sleigh for his kids for Christmas and it was a blast, lots of kids could go in it and it didn't roll.  We spent all day out there enjoying the new sleigh.

Lincoln, Rylie and Karden

Uncle Kade was nice enough to take Bode and Rylie on snowmobile rides too.

After a great day playing in the snow, we had our Smith exchange party.  Always a good time.

My cute parents opeing presents!  Thansk for letting spend a week at your winter wonderland.

Oh the white stuff...

I could not of been happier about the snow for Christmas!  I have to have snow at Christmas, it just doesn't work any other way for me.   So we enjoyed it!  Everyday during the Christmas break we were playing in it one way or another.

Rylie & Bode!

Sledding at Grandma and Grandpa Smith's, it the PERFECT sleigh hill!  Talk about a winter wonderland, no wonder we love going there so much!

We were headed up to my parents house to sleigh ride one day.  The snow was blowing across the road and made it hard to see the lane.  I was hollering at Mike to get over and as soon as I said it a second time, the truck tire caught the ditch and pulled us down into it.  Luckily there was enough snow to slide with us and we didn't roll.  Dad came to the rescue in his tractor, but it made the tractor work pretty hard getting him out.  Bode thought it was the coolest thing that Grandpa' tractor could pull out Dad's truck.  He talked about it for days!  Then they got to ride with Grandpa back up the lane.  I actually thought it was kinda funny because my newest brother in law had gone off the road twice during the holidays and we gave him a pretty hard time.  Then it was us next!  But everyone and the truck was fine,

Christmas Day!

Christmas was hard for me to get into this year, It was an emotional year. But I am sad that it has came and gone, and another year has came and gone.  It turned out to be a pretty great Christmas!   We were the recipients of the 12 days of Christmas, it was so fun.  My kids would attack the door the second it rang, so I apologize to any neighbors we scared.

We are spoiled again! Look at this Christmas loot!  Rylie got clothes, barbie guitar, books, barbie, headbandz, leap pad, princess outfit with an R, and more and more!

Bode got a work bench, new cowboy boots, games, trucks, trailers, clothes and more and more!

This year the kids were big enough to pick out a gift for each other.  We split up by drawing names and Bode got to go with me, he got Rylie a great big coloring book. Dad took Rylie and she gave Bode a tractor with a hook up (aka trailer)!  Pretty fun for the kids to see the other so excited about what they gave them.

 On his phone!

We gave the kids these wiggle cars, they have been a HUGE hit.  Since it has been below zero most of January, we just let them ride them in the house on the tile.  Its been pretty great entertainment

And snugly blankets to take camping and/or stay warm this winter.

Rylie trying everything on together and rocking out with Barbie guitar!

Mike got a new ski coat this year and I get to go on a shopping spree soon!
What a Merry Christmas, spent the day with the Becksteads!
It was an enjoyable day spent with family!

Christmas Eve 2012...

Its down to the day of Christmas Eve, we frosted cookies for Santa, sprinkled the magic reindeer food from the awesome person that did 12 days of Christmas to us and got ready for another Party.

This year we headed to my parents for Christmas Eve Dinner!  My mom always goes all out for the dinner and it so good.  Christmas eve is always my favorite, the suspension of the next day keeps my awake all night.  After the wonderful dinner, the grandkids that were there this year put on the nativity.  Rylie has been looking forward to this for years!!  She was an angel and sang Angels we have heard on high and took her job pretty serious this year.  Bode was Jesus, he didn't want to be baby Jesus, just Jesus.  It was so cute and I love that the kids WANT to do it!

Then we headed home to bed to wait for Santa to come...

oh what a pain...

this blog is such a pain, oh what a pain.  but I use it as my journal to keep track of what is going on when its going on instead of a year later when I finally get around to scrapbooking.  Plus I love staying in contact with friends.   Lets see if this is working.
