no more training wheels...

Rylie and I decided to ride our bikes (bode in the bike trailer) to Mack's park one day for lunch. We made it there no problem, she was having a blast pedaling her heart out. After some fun we decided to head home. She was just sitting there spinning out on her tire and complaining about how hard it was and she couldn't do it. I was supposed to watch a neighbor kid so I was trying to hurry her too. After a little more investigation we realized her back tire was completely flat! OOPS! When dad saved the day and fixed her tire, she decided she wanted to try it with out training wheels. Mike ran up and down the sidewalk with her and they were struggling. We came in and were getting dressed to go somewhere, look at the window and she was doing it. She was so proud. Here she is the next morning riding without training wheels. Sorry to all the neighbors she has stopped, so she can show them she rides her bike without training wheels.

Happy, Happy Birthday....

What a fun HAPPY, HAPPY birthday for BODE! He is such an awesome little guy. He is so happy, so into things, loves to be on the move, loves to laugh, loves to sing songs, loves to be outside, loves to be with dad, loves four wheelers, tractors or trucks that make a lot of noise, he LOVES life and we LOVE him. Happy Birthday little buddy!

Two years ago.... One year ago....
We had a John Deere party, since he loves tractors. Showing off his new tractor shirt and cupcake face!

We celebrated with family and he got SPOILED... lego dump truck, dinosaurs, treats, doozer, truck that carries a four wheeler, football, books, etc....

LOTOJA

Oh I wish we were in the race, really! But we voluteered this year. We checked in riders friday before the race and there was excitement! Then on saturday we did the relay transistion area in Afton. The race is amazing and you never know when one would get crazy enough to try it. We had a good time together while our kids got spoiled by family. (Thank you)

well see what next year bring....

My preschooler...

Rylie started preschool this week. She is loving it!

Such an exciting time for her!!!

Labor Day Weekend...

We enjoyed another weekend at Bear Lake. I know if Mike would commute from there, we would so be packing up the house. But instead we spend as much time as we can over there. I love it and hope my kids love it too. We spent several days at the lake, swim pool and hottub. We enjoyed smores every night and just loved hanging out. We tried out Cafe Sabor.

On Sunday we thought we would take a trip to Bloomington Lake to change up the scenery a little. I think everyone had the same idea because there was over 60 cars in the parking lot. It was a bit crazy, but still fun! There was a moose in the water just hanging out and that was cool for the kids to see.

Check this portrait that Rylie took, pretty good!
Little trooper, he is always up for whatever.

Holy SASS, where did that come from.

She loved walking back and forth on the logs and never fell in.

after a good long swim in the pool, we enjoyed SMORES and popcorn.

Building sandcastles...

OH man, summer is wrapping up! What an amazing summer, we had so much fun.

reason we go to the park...

Check out these SMILES, this is the reason we live at parks! Love it!

danalin...

My good friend Danalin and her cute little family moved to California. I am so sad to see them go, we had so much fun together. We wish them the best on their adventure. We partied it up one more time with a girls only outing at Texas Roadhouse.

We will miss you guys!
