The Magic Of the Season

I cannot believe that Rylie sat on Santa's lap. She is not the bravest with strangers, but she was absolutely fascinated by him. He told her that he would bring her a new dolly!
I STILL BELIEVE in the magic of the Season!

Sugar Cookies

We got a wild hair yesterday to make SUGAR COOKIES. It was so much FUN and such a MESS. Thanks for Rylie's cute APRON, MOM! She loves it and it kept her kinda clean.

The FROSTING is even better than the cookie!

Tis the Season!

Going to get the Christmas Tree is one of my favorite traditions we have. I used to have to beg Mike to go, know he enjoys it. (Enjoys it enough to get me 2 trees) We head up Strawberry Canyon and drive as far as we can off the road and then hike. Sometimes this requires snow shoes, but not this year. There was just enough snow to play in, keep the mud off our boots and for Rylie to play in. There is nothing better than the smell of a real tree, its a lot of work but so worth it.

Mike in action.

I love this stuff!

Like Mike says a "photo op"

One of the finished trees. I have been collecting Moose ornaments for quite awhile okay, years. Most of them are moose on ski's, snowshoes or sleds. I have picked them up all over the place and I love unwrapping each ornament and placing it on the tree. I reminisce about all the places I have been and where each Moose came from or the reason I picked that Moose. (If I get the basement tree done, I may post pictures).
Tis the Season, an absolute favorite!

Thanksgiving 2008

We had such a great Thanksgiving with the Beckstead/Fredrickson side of the Family. So Thankful for family and the time we spend together. As yes there is a WINNER at Apples to Apples. The Fredrickson Family.
Grandpa and Grandma Fredrickson with their kids and spouses.

These three cousins were all born within six months of each other. You can tell they had a blast playing all day together.

Grandpa Beak (A.K.A. Crunch)
Thank you all for an AWESOME Thanksgiving.

Just like Dad!

Just trying to be like my Daddy with that Goatee!

Raking Leaves....

Rylie had more fun running through the leaves than playing in them. I actually enjoy raking and playing in the leaves. Even though Mike will claim he does all the work. Raking leaves also means that SNOW is right around the corner. Which I am READY for.
