Island Park get away...

We got away to Island Park for a weekend. What a beautiful place all covered in SNOW! We loved it and it is my idea of a getaway. We got to snowmobile into Mike's Aunt and Uncle's cabin, play in the snow, got a little snowshoe hike, sled, ride snowmobiles and hang with family. It was such a relaxing get away. The kids were so happy to play with their cousins, it was so enjoyable. We ended up going to West Yellowstone before we headed home and there were only a few stores open, but we found one that had shirts for the kids and they were thrilled.
Thanks for having us Dance's, we had such a good time!

Rylie and Josie were inseparably the whole time. They played all day, seriously ALL day in the snow and they couldn't get enough of playing.

Peep smores...

My new love.... really! I love Easter candy, peeps, cadbury eggs, reeses eggs, it all! But making a peep smore just might be the topper of all! Try it out!

Treehouse Museum

The Treehouse Museum is a favorite! We love going down there, but find it hard to do with Rylie's schedule. Bode loved it this time, he was too little last time we went there. They have so much fun on the fire truck, music room, lego's, kitchen area, the treehouse, the bulls and milking the cows. Check out the pictures of these two! My cowgirl!

St. Patty's Day!

OH Blogger is driving me crazy with downloading pictures. That is why the words are in the middle of the picture instead of at the top.
We had a great St. Patrick's day!
Started off with word of a new boy cousin added to the family, Welcome Stockton!!! Then a yummy green breakfast of green milk, green pancakes and green eggs. The kids weren't so sure about the eggs and struggled eating them.
My darling kids all dress up in Green!
Mike had to work all St. Patty's Day and so when he got home we made him a treat.
Homemade oreo's with green frosting. YUM!
Happy St. Patrick's Day!

testimony...

Rylie has been talking about bearing her testimony for several months. She new exactly what she wanted to say and would repeat, repeat, repeat it all over and over again. I explained that you bear your testimony on fast Sunday. Every Sunday she would ask if it is fast Sunday... finally it was. I was oh-no she will get up there and freeze and who is going to go save her? Not me, Not Mike! We told her she had to do it all by herself thinking that would discourage her a bit. I knew she wanted to do it, but man I didn't want to have to do it too. She worked up the nerve and walked from the back of the chapel to the front, climbed right up there, bore her testimony, and walked all the way back. She was so proud and we were so proud of her too. What a girl! Its hard for me to see her growing up so fast, since for years she wouldn't leave my side and now she is growing wings and taking off.
Love you Rylie!

February...

I know that it is the middle of March, but I am so far behind in blogging.
Here is February at a glance. . . .
Rylie took ski lessons at the beav - she is doing so awesome. I love that she loves it!!!
Lots of LOVE during the month of February by celebrating Valentines Day!
Rylie got her Kindergarten shots and they were pretty mean things.
Bode had a ear drum burst and pretty miserable, but all better now.
More skiing with cousins, can't beat this weather.
Mike and I went on an all day date skiing, thanks to Grandma for keeping the kids!
I had to talk in sacrament meeting, first time in 15 years.
It was a good month and time is flying by...

The one and only snowman of the year!

USU gymnastics

Rylie and I went to the USU gymnastics with her best little buddy Hannah and her mom, Angie. My good buddy! The girls had the best time and even got an autograph of one of the gymnasts.
Rylie and Mom time!

We had so much fun that I decided to take Bode and Rylie and go one night. We had a great time again, Bode was such a good boy there. He just sat back and took it all in. The next morning, I was asking him if he had fun at gymnastics, he says "there were alot of stairs and the girls not wear no pants". I was trying to hard not to laugh, what????
Go Aggies!
