Beckstead and Smith Party...

We had a Party at the Becksteads Christmas Day. it too was a wonderful meal and fun to hang out with everyone. We got spoiled again by Grandpa and Grandma Beak... Bode got a big loader tractor and Rylie a great big gigantic princess art set.

They were pretty excited and exhausted and its not over yet...

On Monday my two brothers that live out of state were able to make it in and we celebrated on the 26th. We draw names and do a exchange of presents, it is always a good time. Rylie got a zebra hat and Bode got a dog hat. They are adorable and adorable in them.

Christmas Morning...

HO HO HO! look what Santa brought to our house. He made it big time! Gotta love that jolly old feller! Bode just waking up. Rylie was up in the middle of night and made sure he came, but then went back to bed until 8:30 in the morning. I was dying for her to GET UP....

Rylie got her Me doll and her American Girl doll and Bode got his Blue tractor!

Good thing Santa knew exactly what they wanted.

Then the biggest surprise of all - a John Deere Tractor trike for Bode and new bike for Rylie. They were so excited. And this 50 degree weather makes it perfect for riding the new bikes.

What an awesome Christmas, we were so spoiled.

Every year we do a 12 days of Christmas to a family. They have been chosen very randomly, but its the best part of Christmas for me. We had the opportunity to help do the 12 days of Christmas to a family this year that needed some items. It was so special and made me realize what I have and how thankful I am for everything I have been given.

I hope the Christmas Spirit stays with me always!

Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve, Eve was spent with my mom's extended side of the family. We had a great dinner and lots of visiting, but I forgot my camera.... oh well the party was a hit.

On Christmas Eve we went with Mike's moms side the family, the Fredrickson's. It was such a fun party with an awesome dinner and appetizers, the left/right game, Santa and his elf came (the elf chowed down on Aunt Sallie's food and even drank one of her coke's, Rylie thought it was so funny), each child got to make their own gingerbread house which came with their own tub of frosting and their own gallon size bag of candy. Such a fun thing for the kids to do. Then home to bed and waiting for Santa! Maizie, Annalie, Josie, Holly and Rylie making their houses!
