The big hair cut

My baby got a real hair cut. I absolutely loved the curls. I still do! I didn't want to cut it cuz I want him to be my baby not such a big boy. But it was getting so long and out of control. With all the playing, camping and swimming we have been doing, it was a mess. It was SUCH a mess, I spent more time on his hair then Rylie's. I would have to wash, condition and pick it out..... Before and After.... Getting this kid to pose is so hard.

Happy Father's Day cookout

I am so lucky to have the best Dad, best Father in law, and my kids are lucky to have have such a great Dad. We had to celebrate with a cookout and dutch oven potatoes. The weather turned out awesome Sunday night since there was a lot of rain that day. We enjoyed the time together as family, especially the cousins!!

First weekend of camping...

We had been trying to go camping with our friends the Dents for many weeks. It has either rained, rained, something came up or rained. We were finally able to get away for a night and had a great time. We hiked, had a hot dog roast, road the four wheeler, lots of smores and great big pancake breakfast

(without syrup)!!!

Bode and Conner, they loved the fourwheeler. In fact it turned out to the best babysitter for them.

Another item off the SUMMER list. We caught the Cache Valley Transit bus in Smithfield and rode it to Richmond, where Grandma Smith picked us up at North Cache. We spent a few hours at her house, swinging, threw rocks in the creek, eating lunch, sat on the deck and then rode it back. The kids loved the adventure! At the bus stop, waiting for the bus!
and on the BUS. They both thought it was pretty awesome to be on a bus and not having to buckle up.

summer time...

We started the Summer off with making a list of 50 things we wanted to do this summer. Stay tuned its going to be a blast! Today it was icecream cones. Planting the garden.. I guess you call it a Garden when it has raspberries, tomatoes and peppers. You know, raspberries and milk, salsa!!! Rylie was so excited to help plant and take care of the garden. I hope she is willing to pull weeds later on.

Way to go Mike, he finished his first 26.2 mile marathon. He did the Bear Lake Marathon on Saturday and then we made it a weekend at the lake.

Little Red Riding Hood Bike Race!

Yeah for little red! This bike race was so much fun (even though I was missing my cruisin partner), 3000 ladies riding for the same cause to get rid of the big bad wolf (cancer). 3 thousand women all trying to accomplish something or have some reason to ride. It was such a blast to ride with incredible women and for such a great cause. The rest stops were all just one big party. I trained for the 50 miles and made it without any issues. I can't wait for next year, but next year its the 100 mile! Thanks to Mike, Rylie, Bode, Mom and Dad for cheering me on. I had to post this picture at the end that Mike took. At the finish line there was ice cold cherry cokes! made the bike ride totally worth it....

I had just finished the race with coke in hand, doesn't get better than this.
